How to get there
Songshan Station on the Taipei metro is right beside the market entrance. It is also easy to reach by bus or taxi.
Best time to visit
Cooler months are more comfortable. Weeknights tend to be slightly less crowded than weekends.
Good to know
Stalls run down the centre and both sides, so traffic flows in two directions. Look out for popular queues, and visit the temple at the entrance with respectful behaviour.
